From October 29 through November 5, 2015, The Austin Film Festival & Conference will showcase the very best the city has to offer. The film festival is held at convenient downtown venues with fun parties at Austin’s fine bars and restaurants and community partnerships. There are always outstanding programs of narrative, animation and documentary features and shorts. These include premieres, advanced screenings, and independent films. Film screenings are complemented by lively and informative Q&A sessions with cast members and filmmakers.

On Saturday, October 31 at 9:00 PM there is a screening of Coming Through the Rye – a film by writer/director/producer James Sadwith who will be in attendance. Alex Wolff, Stefania Owen and Chris Cooper of the cast will also be in attendance. Chris Cooper is receiving an award for Extraordinary Contribution to Film and Acting.

On Sunday, November 1 at 11:30 James Sadwith and Stefania Owen will be on a panel: Independent Filmmaking – The Actor/Director Relationship
